I’ve always believed that what is greatest about classical music is its ability to communicate directly to our very emotional hearts.  To open your imagination and your heart to great classical music is to experience what is best about being human.  At our concerts this year, I promise you will not only hear beautiful, powerful music – through us, I hope you will hear what Elgar, Rachmaninoff, and Debussy and others felt so strongly that they could not help but commit it to music – for words were simply not enough.
